Thoughts on Today's Verse...
In the Old Testament, God appointed someone to go before His people and mediate between them and God. Someone to lead them so that they were not lost with no shepherd. In the New Testament, Jesus came to mediate between God and man. He is our shepherd and mediator. He makes it so we can stand before God.
My Prayer...
O Father, please forgive us for choosing leaders for the wrong reasons and with the wrong character. Please raise up leaders at every level of community that have integrity of character and a deep concern for people.
