Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Those in ancient Israel, as today and in all lands, who prey upon the poor and vulnerable, who prevert justice against them and deny them their rights, sin against God. His eyes see, his eyelids try the children of men, and nothing is done in secret where he does not know.
My Prayer...
Almighty and incomparable God, I don't want to spend my time positioning myself to have power over others. Please give me the grace, the ability, and the opportunity to bless others — not so I will feel superior or important, but so that they will be blessed and you will be praised.
