Org the mission of not a needy person is to help Believers in Jesus Christ help Believers in Jesus Christ we want to see the body of Christ caring for one another through practical means just like happened in Acts chapter 4 where it says there was not a needy person among the early Church Believers friends you can find out more about submitting your need and helping to meet the needs of others all around the world who are trusting in Jesus Christ at not a needy person.  okay today I hope you've seen the title for today's episode it's entitled envious of bad people
 and we all know what it means to be envious it's looking at someone else's situation and wishing it were yours then why is India bad think maybe we should get that understood to begin with and he's a bad thing first of all because it's not an attitude of contentment and you can say well I don't have much to be content about my situation is very bad or I'm very poor or I have this physical limitation or you know fill in the blank you have your own circumstances you could put there and you might feel there's nothing to be content about that the scripture teaches us that the wise person the person who is living with faith and trust in the god of the universe through Jesus Christ is a person who learns to be content in all circumstances because we know that are wise and loving God has placed Us in that circumstance both for our good
 and for his glory but that means is that the plan that he is working out for us is a plan that we are confident is the very best plan that could exist why because God is the one who devised it God is wise God is good God is all-powerful he is doing the very best thing he's so that's what Envy is the title of this episode envious of that people is pointing to those situations when we look at what's coming of the life of a bad person someone who is doing evil doing wrong and we see that they seem to be getting advantages for doing that there seems to be good for them coming out of their actions and we can tend to be envious of that or resentful of it
 I don't bring this up just out of a vacuum Proverbs 24 19 through 20 speaks of this issue it says fret not yourself because of evildoers that be not envious of the wicked for the evil man has no future the lamp of the wicked will be put out and that imagery of the lamp to me is very powerful because he's not talking about an electric lamp is plugged into a wall and you flip a switching on and off it goes he's talking about the lamp that was fueled by oil and in that situation is the oil is gone or someone snuffs out the flame that's burning because of the oil that lamp loses its ability to produce White
 and he's likening that lamp to this evil man who we may look at this evil person who we may see seemingly benefiting from the evil that they're doing and are Tennessee sometimes can be dissing will why am I striving so hard to live according to the teachings of Jesus why am I striving so hard to be the upstanding righteous one in the situation when the evil people seem to be the ones who are getting all the benefit from doing the exact opposite
 Prince Solomon like a good father like a wise friend is advising us to open our eyes to the reality of that circumstance any benefits that an evil person is getting from the way they're living is only temporary there's a lot more we need to have in mind and then just the immediate result is he there is an eternity before us that we need to keep in mind there's an eternal God we need to be pleasing with our lives because he called us to join him in his good work that begins here in history and extends far into eternity friends we have an opportunity here to live a life that matters not just for this life
 put into the realm of Eternity and I can't even conceive of that can you Lord Jesus help us to know that the people we see who seem to be getting a head are only there temporarily soon their lamp will be put out and you will set all things right for Jesus enable us to live as people who trust you know that the future and it's coming it's brighter than we can imagine because you were behind it give us the strength in the Integrity to continue walking in righteousness we ask it in the name of our Lord Jesus
