hello my friends Carrie green here I am so thankful you're back for the morning my Ted how are you doing today are you ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God but God did the universe that's the most important task we can take every single morning I hope you're here to do that because that's why I'm here let's go we're going to look at Proverbs 24:13 through we're going to be learning a little bit about wisdom today along with Solomon in the place of his son because he wrote the Book of Proverbs to his own son so we're going to stand in his shoes and learn under the wisest man who ever lived but before we get there I want to encourage you if you are benefiting from the morning mindset please take some time to share the morning my time with someone you know who could use the kind of encouragement you're receiving you can do that using your phone where you listen to the morning I say you should be able to share that on social media or with a friend
 act like your text or email please take the time to tell somebody you can make me Turtle investment in their lives all right so back to Proverbs 24:13 214 I mentioned that Solomon has written this book of wisdom for his own son and we hear that directly here in person or 13 or chapter 24 it says my son eat honey is good and the drippings of the honeycomb are sweet to your taste know that wisdom is such to your soul if you find it there will be a future in your hope will not be cut off
 the song is not giving us dietary advice here he's not telling us anything about the nutritional value or benefit of honey he's using honey as an example or as an illustration imagine him standing before his son and he brings in a pot of honey and he said Son taste this let this sit on your tongue feel the sweetness of it and enjoy the smooth taste and then use that experience to learn this about wisdom and what is it he says he says know that wisdom is such to your soul
 so friends would we understand what wisdom really is it is a sweet thing to us it is a good thing to us it is something that we love and that we enjoy you know when we talked about having a sugar craving friends I wonder do we have wisdom Cravings do we get into a place in our life at times where we just long to have more wisdom we long to see what God wants us to see about people in about circumstances verse 14 continues it says if you find it if you find wisdom there will be a future and your hope will not be cut off of course we all know that time just takes away right it just keeps going and keeps going when Solomon says if you find wisdom there will be a future he's meaning wisdom will guide you into a better future into a hope which he reveals there in that last time he says in your hope will not be cut off if you see
 the positive outlook that we need to have on life comes from a heart in a mine saturated with wisdom
 too often we can do to a hopeless State we get into a place where circumstances or the way we feel or me some sort of abuse we've experienced in the past or some accident has caused us to take a dim view of the future to have our eyes kind of closed to the great things that could be possible in the future and Solomon telling us friends seek wisdom teeth after it like it's sweet honey because when you do there's going to be something happened in your own spirit in your own Outlook you going to be able to look forward toward the future with hope and you will have an optimistic possibility driven strong attitude toward the future
 friends I look around us and I feel like we need more of that today than ever and hear the way individual Christians speak about their life their sense of self their identity and I think oh my goodness we need God's wisdom to choose who we really are in Christ to show us the future he has in store for us Prince honey is sweet but so is wisdom Solomon the lesson is one I pray we'll go deep deep into our souls in fact let's pray about that together right now
 forgot thank you for this illustration I have wisdom is like honey and that the person who is truly humble who is truly wise will seek after wisdom because it's going to be sweet to our souls it's going to give us a optimism for the future and our hope will not be cut off so Jesus
 make us people who seek wisdom give us cravings for wisdom give us a desire for it and then teaches how to apply it or we like Solomon son need your help in this because you are the ultimate wise God guidance and wisdom more we praise you and we thank you for answering this prayer in Jesus name
